The next meeting of the Preston Environmental Forum will be on Thursday 16th of Feb at 7:30.
The meeting will be held at St Michael's Church in Ashton (at the junction of Tulketh Road and Egerton Road, PR2 1 AJ). Entrance to the room is gained easily via Egerton Road. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&tab=wl
This site is the home of the Feed and Weed project (and community food growing project) and a monthly Farmers Market.
(http://www.stmichaelspreston.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=42&Itemid=39). This will be a great opportunity to find out more about this location.
If you know of any other meeting places the group can use, especially if they are associated with an environmental project, then do let me know it would be great to tour the meeting around Preston to see what everyone is doing.
Before the next meeting I would like everyone to consider the name of the group, does the group want to be called 'Preston Environmental Forum'?... or is the there a better name? We do hope to get a Facebook group going so I guess agreeing on a name ASAP is pretty important!
I think a large slice of the next meeting will be discussing the Abundance Project! www.growsheffield.com/pages/groShefAbund.html
I hope you will all be able to come along
Regards
Paul
