Give a gift and light up a life at Christmas

Thousands of children, families and older people will have a happier Christmas this year, thanks to The Salvation Army's nationwide Christmas Present Appeal.

From Friday 23 November until Sunday 16 December, The Salvation Army will be collecting gifts for children, teenagers and homeless people, which will be distributed in local communities.

Members of the public are being asked to donate a new, unwrapped gift to our local Salvation Army centre.  We will also accept non perishable seasonal food and toiletries. The gifts are distributed to people in need in the area through The Salvation Army networks, local groups and social services

If you know of people in need who you would like us to help please email us so we can send you a blank referral which specifies the information required.

Due to unprecedented demand for parcels during last year's campaign, we are unfortunately having to limit referrals to a choice of either toys OR food.

Referring agencies/keyworkers will need to arrange the collection and delivery of their own parcels, or arrange for clients to come and collect them from our centre on Harrington Street.

We anticipate that parcels will be ready for collection from Wednesday 19^th December (or possibly earlier). Agencies should contact the office to confirm a collection day.
