On the frontline - a blog from the East End

If you want some challenge or inspiration for urban ministry this is worth a read..

Tony Uddin has been in ministry in East London since 1995 and has led Tower Hamlets Community Church (a church linked to Livability for many years) since 2007.

He is married to Anni, a chaplain in Holloway prison, who is from Germany. His vision for THCC is of a vibrant multi-generational church that impacts the community around it.

Read his weekly reflections below (updated generally every Wednesday)

Young People and Mental Health From FYT

Young People and Mental Health is a subject that you will often hear Christian youth workers talk about. At the same time it seems barely a week goes by without some sad story in the news or a report on young people's well-being and mental state being published. So, we think it is time to respond:

1) A training and reflection day for Christian youth workers. 3rd July
Birmingham. More details from:
http://www.fyt.org.uk/showdetails,pdf,131.htm

2) Two new booklets:

Eating Disorders - Jo Fitzsimmons (To be published by FYT in February)
